Carl is a classically trained fine artist with a background in traditional oil paint and modernist sculpture. His work has been exhibited from New York to Boston and hangs in private collections internationally. Over the past five years, Carl has specialized in digital media.  In addition to providing creative and design direction on branding and marketing materials for the organization, globally, he has shaped the Standard & Poor's website and the website user experience as well.  This is in addition to overseeing a team of designers within the brand management and marketing department.
 
His creative roots began with a father who was a toy designer and were further honed within the walls of the Rhode Island School of Design and the Art Institute of Boston. He was also privately apprenticed by two of New England’s finest artists. His interests range from independent animated filmmaking to vintage European auto reconstruction. Carl has the capacity to build or rebuild just about anything.
